Delete your account in MASA
- Sign in to the MASA account you want to delete.
- Open Profile or Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the consequences and confirm the request.
The app requires an explicit confirmation before permanently deleting the authenticated account. If the deletion option is unavailable, email masa@marii.my using your registered email address. Include your registered phone number and state that you are requesting MASA account deletion. Never include your password or OTP.
What deletion affects
- Your MASA profile and active authentication tokens will be removed or deactivated.
- Unused Auto Points, unredeemed vouchers, programme access and account benefits will be forfeited and cannot be restored.
- Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. A later registration will be treated as a new account unless prohibited for fraud or abuse.
Data we may retain
Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, audit, dispute or transaction-record obligations. Retained records will be limited, protected and deleted or anonymised when the applicable retention requirement ends.
Verification and processing
We may verify that the requester controls the account before processing deletion. We will acknowledge the request and provide further instructions or status information through the registered contact details.
