1. About Auto Points
Auto Points is a loyalty and engagement programme operated through the Malaysia Automotive App (“MASA”) by Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (“MARii”, “we”, “us” or “the Organiser”). By enrolling in or using Auto Points, you agree to these Programme Terms together with the MASA Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
- You must hold an active MASA consumer account and provide accurate registration information.
- Auto Points are intended for personal use. Vendor, suspended, duplicate or fraudulent accounts are not eligible.
- We may request reasonable verification before awarding points or releasing a reward.
3. Earning points
- A new eligible consumer currently receives 50 welcome points on first registration. The amount displayed in MASA at registration is the applicable amount.
- Additional points may be earned by scanning an active campaign QR or completing another qualifying activity shown in MASA.
- Each campaign displays a fixed number of points before confirmation. A campaign QR may normally be claimed only once per account and remains subject to its activation period and total scan limit.
- Points should normally appear immediately, but verification, connectivity or processing may delay display. Refreshing the account does not create a second award.
4. Point value and restrictions
- Points have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash or combined between accounts.
- Points are not a deposit, electronic money or stored-value facility.
- The points required for each reward are displayed on that reward before redemption. For example, a reward showing “100 points” deducts exactly 100 points when claimed.
- Points currently do not expire while the programme remains active unless an expiry date is clearly displayed for a campaign or announced under an updated version of these Terms.
5. Rewards and stock
- Rewards are subject to availability, campaign dates, stock and any per-user redemption limit shown in MASA.
- Images are illustrative. A reward supplier may impose additional collection or usage conditions.
- Points are deducted and available stock is reduced when you successfully claim a reward, not when a vendor later scans its voucher.
- Unless required by law or expressly stated, claimed rewards and deducted points are not refundable or exchangeable.
6. Reward vouchers and QR redemption
- A successful reward claim creates a unique voucher beginning with VCH-.
- The voucher expiry shown in MASA is binding. It may be based on the reward validity period or a stated number of days after claiming, whichever ends first.
- Present the voucher QR only to an authorised vendor or redemption counter. The vendor may review the reward and limited account details before asking you to confirm collection.
- Each voucher can be redeemed once. When the vendor confirms redemption, its status becomes “used” and the same QR is no longer valid.
- You are responsible for keeping your voucher QR secure. Do not publish or share it with anyone who is not processing your redemption.
7. Errors, misuse and corrections
We may withhold, reverse or correct points, rewards or vouchers arising from duplicate scans, system errors, unauthorised access, manipulated QR codes, false information, refunded or reversed qualifying transactions, or other abuse. We may suspend an account while investigating and may request supporting records.
8. Programme changes or termination
We may change rewards, stock, campaign values or operational rules and may suspend or end Auto Points where reasonably necessary. Material changes to these Programme Terms will be published with a new version and effective date. Where required, MASA will ask you to accept the updated terms before further participation.
9. Support and disputes
For a missing transaction or redemption dispute, contact info@marii.my promptly with your registered phone number, approximate date and time, campaign or reward name, and any relevant screenshot. Do not send passwords or OTP codes.
These Programme Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
